day 1 - getting veggies and fruits

Costco is one of the best places to get fresh stuff with low cost. Buying bulk is our objective for this task. The items below are the first round. Hopefully they can last for a week.

6 lbs of apples
6 lbs of watermelon
3 lbs of lettuces
3 cucumbers
6 lbs of tomatoes
3 lbs of seedless grapes
3 lbs of broccoli
10 lbs of carrots
3 lbs of almonds
3 lbs of sweet melon

My breakfast was a pure peach juice. 3 peaches were juiced to 600ml of fresh liquid. That is pretty good. The taste was delicious for a morning drink. No coffee, no any other stuff, just 400ml of peach juice. That was taken at 9am.

Lunch was simple, 3 tomatoes, and hand full seedless grapes, 6 cups of lettuces, 4 red radishes, 4 carrots, 1 piece of celery, that is it! 800ml of juice came out of the newly bought Jack juicer. By the way, the one we bought from Macy's yesterday was Brevile, which is good in a way but a bit over priced. We are going to return the Brevile and keep the Jack Lalanne for the value. Well, this lunch was taken at 2pm after we finished our costco run.

@5pm, I felt pretty hungry. Instead of jumping on any snacks in our pantry, we made another drink. This time, only a hand full broccoli and 3 carrots. Taste was ok, a bit veggieish but we can live with that.

Well, let's see how long can we hold until our next meal (drink).
